- After years working for a Fortune 500 corporation in various management positions John’s entrepreneurial spirit gave way to his desire of business ownership. He has since owned and sold four businesses. The experience of running and selling these companies, from both an owner’s point of view and a buyer’s prospective, has proven invaluable as a business intermediary and as an owner of the Wellstone Group. John Preston has been a broker in Florida since 1982 and a broker manager of Wellstone Group LLC. Since 1994. He has served as a Director of Florida Business Brokers Association, as well as a Director for the State Board.
